The Ashtavinayak yatra is among the most loved pilgrimages in Maharashtra. It takes devotees to eight ancient Ganesh temples: Morgaon, Siddhatek, Theur, Ranjangaon, Ozar, Lenyadri, Mahad and Pali. Each temple holds a swayambhu idol and a story that is deeply tied to the faith and culture of the region, and visiting all eight is believed to bring peace, wisdom and the removal of obstacles.

Planning the yatra properly matters. The temples are spread across Pune, Ahilyanagar and Raigad districts, and visiting them in the traditional order requires good knowledge of the roads and darshan timings. Our package follows the accepted sequence, starts early so you avoid long queues, and includes comfortable rest stops. The first day usually covers Morgaon, Siddhatek, Theur and Ranjangaon, with an overnight stay near Pune or on the way to Ozar. The second day covers Ozar, Lenyadri, Mahad and Pali before the return journey.

You travel in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle of your choice, from a Sedan for a couple to an Ertiga or Innova Crysta for a family, or a Tempo Traveller and Urbania for a group of devotees. Our drivers are familiar with the yatra route and help with parking, temple timing and good vegetarian food. Senior citizens can ask for extra rest breaks, and we can customise the plan for those who prefer a three-day, slower yatra.

What makes this package special is the order and the pace. Many people try to cover all eight temples in a hurry and end up missing darshan or reaching late for aarti. We keep the plan realistic, keep a buffer for traffic on the Pune–Solapur and Pune–Nashik roads, and choose a night halt that is clean and comfortable. Families often tell us that having one driver who stays with them throughout, and knows the next temple and its timings, makes the whole yatra feel peaceful rather than rushed.

Tips for your yatra: wear comfortable footwear that is easy to remove, carry light cotton clothes and a water bottle, and keep some cash for offerings and parking. Dress modestly, as several temples have dress rules. October to February is the best season, while the monsoon is beautiful but the roads at Lenyadri and Ozar need extra care. Book at least a week ahead for Sankashti Chaturthi and several weeks ahead for Ganesh Chaturthi.

Because Daund is very near the circuit, you save time on the first day. Siddhatek and Ranjangaon are close to the Daund side, and the return to Daund is quick after Pali, so the plan is comfortable with a normal night halt.
