About This Tour Package
Starting from Pune, this package is run by Aman Tours and Travels with pick-up from Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Kharadi, Wagholi, Shivajinagar, Swargate, Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Pune railway station and the airport.
This three-in-one pilgrimage covers Pandharpur, Tuljapur and Akkalkot, three of the most revered places in Maharashtra. Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir in Pandharpur is the heart of the Warkari tradition, Tulja Bhavani in Tuljapur is the family deity of many Maharashtrian families, and Akkalkot is the place of Shri Swami Samarth.
Our package plans the circuit in a logical order so that you travel efficiently and can attend darshan at the right times. The first day usually covers Pandharpur and then Tuljapur, with an overnight stay near the temple. The second day includes Akkalkot, and optionally Gangapur or Solapur, before returning. Because crowds are heavy on Ekadashi, Navratri and festival dates, we advise booking well in advance.
The roads on this route are mostly national and state highways, so the journey is comfortable. You can choose a Sedan, Ertiga, Innova Crysta, Tempo Traveller or a bus. The driver will guide you on queue timing, parking and food, and will wait while you complete darshan.
Visiting three important shrines in two days is possible only when the travel is smooth, and that is where this package helps. We pick the right order to avoid backtracking, advise you about the best time to be in each temple, and arrange night stays close to the shrines so that you can start early. Devotees who travel with senior parents appreciate the comfort of an AC cab and the driver’s patience while they wait in long darshan queues.
Tips for the journey: Ekadashi days, Ashadhi and Kartiki wari bring lakhs of devotees to Pandharpur, so plan well ahead if you must travel then. Carry a light shawl and a water bottle, keep valuables safe in queues, and book temple rooms early if you want to stay overnight. Navratri is the most crowded time at Tuljapur, so a visit during other weeks gives a calmer darshan.
From Pune the road to Pandharpur is about 210 km, taking 4.5 to 5 hours via Saswad or Solapur highway. We recommend leaving before sunrise to complete Pandharpur and reach Tuljapur by evening.
From Pune, we can fix the pick-up point and time according to your convenience, even in the early hours of the morning for long routes. Our drivers handle city traffic and highway driving with equal confidence.
