Nashik is one of the holiest cities in India, set on the Godavari river and linked with the Ramayana. Together with Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga and Saptashrungi Gad, it forms a rewarding two-day religious tour.
Our package begins with the drive to Nashik, where you visit Panchavati, Ramkund, Kalaram temple and Sita Gufa. The next morning we travel to Trimbakeshwar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the source of the Godavari at Brahmagiri, followed by Saptashrungi Gad near Vani, a Shakti Peetha on a hilltop. If you enjoy vineyards, a stop at Sula and other wineries can be added to the plan.
The journey is on good highways, and our drivers help you with timings, parking and queue management at Trimbakeshwar, which is crowded on Mondays and during Shravan. The Daund to Nashik distance is about 280 km, taking 5.5 to 6 hours via Ahilyanagar and Sangamner. We plan the first day to end with the Godavari evening aarti at Ramkund if time permits.
